The museum in Borgarsyssel was built in 2016
The exhibition is named "Tusen rike r" (A thousand rich years)
On 29th July 2016 a new county museum in Borgarsyssel, Sarpsborg, Norway was built. The museum was then inaugurated by King Harald. It is a Jubilee exhibition that describes the history of Sarpsborg over the last thousand years. A Foucault pendulum at the antrance both shows that time passes by but also that earth rotates around its axis. The pendulum is beautiful and it is a very interesting museum. It is really worth a visit! It has been a pleasure being part of building this Foucault pendulum.
